Warfighter Engaged was a prime initiator of the XBOX Adaptive Controller idea. Going back 3 years when the XAC was born, through to its recent public release, WFE has been a key player in its feature set development and beta testing phase. Numerous articles from around the world cited our involvement in the XAC story. Check out this press release from Microsoft XBOX to learn more about our efforts and the great product itself.

WFE Team picture from AOTA 2018 in Salt Lake City, Utah

WFE was an exhibitor at the 2018 American Occupational Therapy Conference held in Salt Lake City, Utah in April. Our booth was very popular and had a ton of traffic as visitors came to see our gear and learn about our mission. Lots of great connections were made and some have already led to their disabled patients being supported by our work. We also participated in an "Arcade" event with other game technology vendors including Microsoft's XBOX accessibility group. Our main push was to educate the OT community on the therapeutic aspects of adaptive gaming.
Maybe we'll see you in New Orleans next April!

Recent Trip to Microsoft's XBOX headquarters

WFE gets around and Microsoft XBOX headquarters is a great place to visit. We participated in an "Accessibility Boot Camp" where we were featured in a panel discussing our work with wounded and disabled veterans as well as our approach to adapting gaming hardware. This 2017 trip picture was taken in one of the XBOX accessibility design labs.
